Why MiamiCuisine.net?

If you have searched for restaurant reviews before, you know the average review websites are cluttered with links to hotels, car rentals, golf courses, and the list goes on. Very few websites actually focus on providing their users with information they need to have the perfect dining experience. Unfortunately, these websites are usually national and too generic. It is rare to find a review by someone who is not a tourist and actually lives in South Florida. Here at MiamiCuisine.net, we have created an online community for locals to share their experiences. We offer reviews by individuals who have actually visited these restaurants more than once and really know what is going on.

The fact that MiamiCuisine.net is organized to only focus on South Florida is not the only reason why you should become a regular. This website actually allows users add and edit restaurants directly into the database. Obviously, we cannot let any visitor do it or it would be chaos. Users have to register on the Forums and earn this privilege through participation.

Why spend time reading reviews?

We live in one of the greatest cities in the world. The Miami area is so diverse and there are so many places to go for a good meal that the choices are pretty much endless. With so many choices, the odds are that some restaurants will not be as good as you thought. Through user comments, you can make your own decision and avoid a bad experience; or instead of having an average night, you might have a great one. You probably work hard to earn money and want to have a great time when you go out. Why would you want to pay someone to have a mediocre experience? Avoid another disaster by researching our user reviews.

Help locating restaurants:

One of the key advantages to MiamiCuisine.net is our organized approach. Your search results are neatly displayed containing a summary of each restaurant. You can then click on any of the names and it will take you to that restaurant's page. Searching for a restaurant is very simple. To the left, there are two menus. The top menu is the Find a Restaurant menu, which contains a search field where you can enter multiple keywords such as a restaurant's name, phone number, city, zip code, or chef. Under the search field, there are letters which you can use to browse restaurants by name. Under that, there is a Cuisine menu which allows you to browse restaurants by cuisine type. If you would like more control over your search, then click on the Search button in the main menu. This Advanced Search allows you to set multiple filters to narrow down your search results.

Join our community!

Any visitor can search our restaurant database, and even add restaurants by emailing the information to us. However, if you would like to participate by adding your comments, ratings, adding restaurants directly to the database, or chatting in our forums, you will have to register on the Forums.

Our goal is to build a large database containing every restaurant in South Florida. However, we cannot do it alone. We need the help of users like you to add restaurants, rate them, edit mistakes, and add comments. We really need your support to keep the website updated and accurate.
